Interstellar Wormhole

Art inspired by the movie Interstellar, as you might have suspected from the title. :)

In General Relativity wormholes can (hypothetically) appear in certain points in spacetime, where space is bend so much that two seperate points in space are connected through a tunnel. Contrary to many depictions in movies and literature, the entrance of a wormhole itself is actually not flat 2D circle but a 3-dimensional sphere.
If you are interested in science fiction with real physics, then Interstellar is a must-see for you! :-) It is not only very accurate, but also visually enganging.
